The Takano River, located upstream of the Kamo River, is flanked by cherry blossom trees on its eastern bank. From this scenic location, one can admire the cherry blossoms alongside views of Mt. Hiei and the iconic “Daimonji” fire lit during the Gozan Okuribi (Bonfire of the Five Mountains) festival.
